Thoroughout the week an end of year report will be available for all Share Club Members. The End of Year Report will report our performance since inception of the club. I am pleased to announce we have a 20.4 % Net Asset Performance. This is an amazing figure considering the club is pretty new to the idea of trading in equities. Details of the investments we hold and the investments we sold are all included in the report together with any cash and bonds held. We will continue with subscription collection whilst we are all on holiday for the shutdown. Advance payments for this are due this week. Our most recent purchases have been reported in the forum.

20th April 2010  SHARE CLUB UPDATES

We sold Tricor on the 1st April for a lovely 22.9% profit and Baobab on the 19th April for 15.8%. It has been a slow couple of weeks with very little in the way of a Golden Nugget but with the above sales and our cash in hand we are ready for another few big buys this week. Possibly looking at Thrusday. I am hoping to buy at least three stocks and will do the calculations on Wednesday.

As you can see quite a busy few weeks since the last update. I will start on this months newsletter so give me a few days to get that together.

This week is going to be another very busy week. Today we purchased 5 seperate stocks. All of which fell into the radar of the formula I am using. I can't publish the stocks just yet, waiting for comfirmation of prices from the dealer. We are also gathering quite a lot of followers to the forum and this club update session. From all around the World it has become quite popular for share tips. Another reason why I will not publish our purchases until the day after they are bought.

Activity in the last two week;

Purchased Petra Diamonds, sold Phytopharm, purchased Futura Medical, Purchased Baobab Resources, sold DTZ Holdings, sold Futura Medical, purchased Inspired Gaming, purchased Goldstone and tomorrow we will purchase Global Brands.

Our overall trading has steadily increased to a point were it might be wise to 'compare the market' for a cheaper broker. There is not a lot of difference between trade costs but it might be worth looking into. Our broker at the moment is offering a quality service with the back up of a large multi-national organisation but if i can save us several hundred quid over the year it will be worth it.

Wonderful news; our Quintain Estates investment has started to rise, only by a few percent at the moment but I will keep a close eye on its progress.  Also Max Petrolium is showing a sharp increase of 18% which is a fantastic result. I will check this investment again tomorrow and report back any recommendations.

Paul is going to be off work for a few days with the flu that has got him good and proper.  Trading will not be affected but some subscriptions might not be collected. A few have managed to pay upfront to cover the christmas holidays but those who haven't do not worry because your subscription will be paid on your behalf.

Yesterday we purchased Phytopharm. A recommended buy. Scoring high on the index.

Phytopharm is a pharmaceutical development and food company. Their products are developed from plants, thereby reducing the risk, cost and time to market. Phytopharm’s is centred on a lean cash burn with all laboratory, manufacturing and clinical work outsourced, while core competencies such as strategy and management are maintained in-house. Close collaboration with charitable organisations enhances and accelerates their development programmes, increasing their value.

Another high scoring listing is Quintain Estates. We will purchase these tomorrow on the 16th.

Minerva has given us a fantastic gain. We have now got a massive cash pot which will be invested once a week for the next month. We all have to give Liddiard a pat on the back for bringing Minerva to the clubs attention. Nice one Paul.

2nd NOVEMBER 2009   SHARE CLUB UPDATE

We purchased shares in Summit Corporation on the 29th October. These shares were bought on the basis of a mathematical formula and company profile information.  I have used the formula before and each time we have made returns of 20% plus. So you will be pleased to know we have been successful once again. Our investment in Summit Corporation was sold about 2 hours ago. Again, we made over 20% which is a fantastic return considering we have only held Summit since last Thursday.

Update on Corero, the software and computer services company we bought the other day.

Nothing was bought this week as explained. We will be back on track next week with another strong buy. RBS isn't going anywhere as expected and the rest of our portfolio is simmering nicely. We are looking at two purchases over the coming weeks which will take us till the end of October. The first week of November I will distribute the first of our newsletters.

22nd SEPTEMBER 2009   SHARE CLUB UPDATE

Northgate PLC (NTG) we dumped the other week. The shares rose to 27p in less than a week so we got rid whilst the going was good. We cannot be greedy so small gains like this are going to mount up. We are holding three stocks at the moment; RBS (banking) Dawson Holdings (publications) and Minerva (real estate). Minereva were purchased yesterday at 39 pence and are at 40 pence today. Dawson Holdings are ready to pounce and the bank are down as expected but we know this is a long termer.

If all agree to this benefit (available to members only) it will be rolled out over the next three weeks. I will explain to everyone the way this will work and the pros and cons of such a benefit. The Super-Booster will not affect the value of the groups investments as it will run as an add on.

Our next share purchase date is on the 7th September. On this date the dealer will purchase shares in a company called Northgate. Northgate is the leading light commercial vehicle rental business by fleet size in the U.K. and Spain. A few members discussed this company over the last few days and already their share price has crept up. It is still low for the market size and market capital it operates so is a recommended buy. The share price stands at 22p up from 20p earlier in the week.

Please note that our club is now a closed shop. We have had many talks about this in the week. Several people have tried to carpet bag us and jumped aboard after the close date. We operated a two week recruitment period, plenty of time for anyone to join up. Now, it is too late. The only possible way for a new member to join is for any existing members to sell their membership as a private sale. You are free to sell your membership and transfer its rights but if you do please take advice from a solicitor about its transfer and make sure you have all the paperwork legally signed. The club must be informed of any personal transfer deals. As a club we do not recommend transfer of membership but understand you have the legal right to do so.

28TH AUGUST 2009   SHARE CLUB UPDATE

I can confirm the dealer purchased the shares fiirst thing yesterday morning at 57.2048 pence. By the close of business they settled on 55.55 pence but bounced back up again today at 57.65. This gives us a profit in less than 24 hours of dealing.
