Don Key A Lane can prove every step of the way that we trade ethically and morally, sticking to our vision and values. But we wanted to know if other corporations can prove their ethical trading values. More importantly can advertising ethical trade be challenged? Can we make corporations prove this? We decide to challenge the Co-operative group who rely heavily on advertising their ethical values. In a recent publication the co-op claimes it has developed a worldwide ethical trading initiative called 'sound sourcing.' We phone customer services and ask for a copy. After been bounced around from pillar to post they say they will send us a copy. We wait patiently.
